Job summary

Dovetail And Slate Ltd in North London is seeking an experienced Curriculum Manager - English to lead the English curriculum across FE provision on an interim basis. Immediate start and 3-4 days per week.

You will line manage staff, drive improvements, analyse performance data, and ensure QA/compliance. A relevant degree and a full teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DET or equivalent) are required.

Qualifications

• FE leadership experience in Curriculum Manager or Head of English.
• Strong English curriculum delivery including GCSE and/or Functional Skills.
• Experience managing teaching teams and driving quality improvements.
• Full teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DET or equivalent).
• Available for immediate start.

Are you an experienced English Curriculum Manager or FE English leader available to start immediately?

We are recruiting for an experienced Curriculum Manager - English to join a Further Education provider in North London on an interim basis.

This is a key leadership role where you will take responsibility for curriculum delivery, quality, performance and staff management across the English provision.

The Role

• Lead and manage the English curriculum area
• Manage, support and develop teaching staff
• Drive improvements in teaching, learning and learner outcomes
• Monitor performance data and implement improvement plans
• Support curriculum planning, delivery and development
• Ensure high standards of quality assurance and compliance
• Lead on staff performance, CPD and continuous improvement

We Are Looking For

• Previous FE experience in a Curriculum Manager, Head of English, Curriculum Lead, Head of Department or similar leadership role
• A strong background in English curriculum delivery, including GCSE and/or Functional Skills
• Experience managing and developing teaching teams
• Strong experience in quality improvement, performance management and data analysis
• A relevant degree
• A full teaching qualification - PGCE, Cert Ed, DET or equivalent
• Someone available for an immediate start
