Job description

SCL is the UK’s largest provider of education and skills training within the sports sector, working with grassroots Academies through to Premiership Football Clubs such as Charlton Athletic, West Ham Foundation, Borehamwood FC, Yorkshire Cricket, Hull RFL, and Tranmere Rovers, positively impacting the future prospects of children and young people. Our Teacher Talent Pathway (TTP) recognises the importance of high-quality teaching staff. The TTP program supports new talent to become the best educators for our students. We believe in #StrongerTogether. The purpose of the TTP is to provide transparency to teaching staff, build a positive culture focused on behaviors, and create a pipeline for staff progression. In addition, SCL offers a unique opportunity for teachers to rapidly develop knowledge, skills, and experience for progression into curriculum and operational leadership roles, thanks to our unique education sites and empowerment of teacher ownership and site management. This is particularly exciting for high-quality, aspirational teachers eager to make a life-changing impact on young people’s futures and advance their careers. This distinguishes us from traditional education providers. Staying true to our purpose, we use the power of sport to deliver exceptional educational programs.
