An educational recruitment agency is seeking tutors in Wakefield for English and Maths, working with students primarily at KS2 - KS3 levels. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, and candidates should have some prior educational experience. Prospero is currently recruiting for tutors in Wakefield. We work with local authorities to arrange 1:1 students accessing alternative provision.
The vast majority of our tuition referrals are for English and Maths. A lot of our students are working below expected age range, and the delivery of learning will be at a KS1 - KS3 level.

The Role: English and Maths tuition for a Year 7 student working below ARE. Expected delivery of knowledge: KS2 - KS3.
Our tuitions can be held in a number of places:
At all of the above locations, there will always be an appropriate adult present for your tuition sessions. This will be the students parent, carer, or guardian, meaning you’re never left alone with a student.
Our place within school hours, and our clients are very flexible on timings. When a role becomes available, we’ll come to you as the tutor to set timings for when to take on the hours.
With our tuition roles, you do not need to be a qualified teacher. We usually ask that you have some form of higher education. We’d also expect candidates to have some prior experience within education; at least 4 months working in a school or educational setting. This could be as a teacher, teaching assistant, or in a pastoral or support role.
