Job description

£25 - £35 Per hour

  • Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to students
  • Develop individualised lesson plans based on student's needs
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Provide feedback to students and parents on performance
  • Help students prepare for exams and improve study skills
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of English and Maths curriculum
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring English and Maths

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will primarily work with students in a classroom or one-on-one setting, providing English and Maths tutoring services.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
