As an English Academic Coach, you’ll work with students across KS3 and KS4, delivering focused support to boost reading, writing, and GCSE preparation. You’ll run small group sessions and 1:1 interventions, helping pupils strengthen key skills, improve essay structure, and build confidence in English. You’ll work alongside English teachers to identify learning gaps, adapt resources, and contribute to a culture of academic excellence.

You’re a graduate with a degree in English or a related subject and a clear interest in education. You’ve got a strong grasp of grammar, analysis, and communication, and you enjoy helping others understand and express ideas. Experience with young people—through tutoring, mentoring, or school work—is a strong advantage. You’re reliable, motivated, and ready to make a difference in the classroom.
