An educational support provider in the UK is seeking an English Academic Coach to help students in KS3 and KS4. This role involves delivering tailored academic support, running sessions, and fostering student confidence in English. Candidates should hold a degree in English or related fields. As an English Academic Coach, you\'ll work alongside the English department to deliver targeted academic support to students across KS3 and KS4. You\'ll run small group sessions, provide one-to-one interventions, and assist in preparing pupils for assessments and exams. Your role will also involve contributing to lesson preparation and helping pupils develop their confidence in reading, writing, and critical analysis.
You should hold a degree in English Literature, English Language, or a closely related subject. A clear communicator with a supportive and proactive attitude, you\'ll need to be confident working with young people. Any previous experience in education, tutoring, or mentoring will be helpful but not essential.
