Wordsmith AI Ltd is hiring Deployment Engineers to own the technical deployment of Wordsmith inside customer environments, configuring identity, SSO, and data flows across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce and more. You’ll lead integrations, test end-to-end scenarios, and work with customer IT and security teams to productionize deployments.
You will collaborate with Legal Engineers, Enablement, and Product teams to ensure reliable, scalable integrations and strong data governance
Deployment Engineers own the technical side of getting Wordsmith live inside a customer. Once a deal is signed, you'll connect Wordsmith to the systems our customers already run on. That means identity and SSO, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, Google Workspace, Salesforce, document management, chat tools, and MCP connections to the wider AI and data stack. You'll design how data and permissions flow between them, build and test the integrations, and work through each customer's IT and security requirements until everything works in production. It's part integration engineering, part solutions architecture, and part customer-facing problem solving. You'll be the technical lead on every deployment you own, the person customer IT teams talk to, and the person who works out how to make it work when an integration doesn't behave as documented. This is a technical, hands-on role. You don't need to be a lawyer, and we're not necessarily looking for one. We're looking for engineers and technical consultants who understand identity, APIs and enterprise SaaS, and who enjoy making systems talk to each other. Your focus is the technical foundation the rest of the deployment runs on. You'll work side by side with our Legal Engineers on every deployment. While you connect Wordsmith to the customer's systems, they configure the platform itself: workflows, agents, playbooks and automations built around how the legal team works. You'll plan the deployment together, agree what each integration needs to support, and make sure the connections you build give their configuration the data, documents and permissions it depends on.
Our customer teams have clear but closely connected responsibilities: Transformation leads implementation, Support Engineering resolves technical issues, Account Management owns renewals and commercial growth, Customer Success owns adoption, customer health and value realisation, and Enablement owns onboarding, training and customer capability.
Wordsmith is growing quickly, winning new customers and expanding within larger organisations. Wordsmith is only as useful as the systems it connects to. Every new customer brings a different stack, and Deployment Engineers are the people who make Wordsmith work inside it. You'll work directly with ambitious in-house legal teams, see how dozens of legal functions really operate, and take that back into a product you help shape. You will work across enterprise identity, productivity and CRM platforms, and on MCP as it develops into a standard. You will own real technical outcomes from your first week and help define how we integrate as we scale.
Wordsmith is building the legal operating system for in-house teams, and we are growing fast. We believe in-house legal is becoming one of the most important functions in the AI era. Every business is moving faster, but legal work is still too often scattered across inboxes, chats, documents and disconnected systems. Wordsmith brings that work into one system. Requests come in from across the business, AI agents handle the routine, lawyers stay in control where judgement matters, and every step is captured as work happens. We are built for in-house legal, not law firms. Our goal is to help legal teams move faster, reduce unnecessary external counsel spend and become a function the business can run with. Backed by over $100M from Index Ventures, General Catalyst, Highland Europe and others, we are building one of the defining companies in legal AI.
