Job summary

John Crane, part of Smiths Group, seeks a Creative Content Creator to transform complex engineering and technology into compelling visual stories. You will produce videos, animations, visualisations and sales content to help global sales teams explain value and impact.

You’ll work with engineers, product experts, sales and marketers worldwide to turn technical concepts into clear, engaging content and shape what is created and how it is used to support commercial growth.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in content creation, creative production, marketing or an in‑house creative environment.
• Excellent animation and motion graphics capability using tools such as After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender or 3ds Max.
• Strong video editing, graphic design and visual communication skills across Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience creating compelling presentations and visual storytelling in PowerPoint.
• The ability to take complex technical information and turn it into engaging commercial content.
• Experience working with engineers, product specialists or other technical subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Turn engineering into stories: translate complex technologies into clear, customer-focused narratives.
• Create standout visual content: develop video, 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics and product visualisations.
• Lead creative production: from concept, scripting and storyboarding through visualisation, production, sound design and delivery.
• Enable sales teams: create presentations, demo videos, product collateral, case studies and other content.
• Support channel partners: develop co-branded marketing and sales materials and onboarding content.
• Shape the content roadmap: determine content needs based on priorities, campaigns and growth opportunities.
