Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with intermediaries and customers, handling straightforward cases end-to-end to deliver joint business plans aligned with company strategy.
- Make effective on-site underwriting decisions within delegated authority to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries, balancing their needs with company objectives to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
- Organise and manage personal workload to ensure timely and accurate handling of the team’s tasks.
- Contribute ideas to improve systems, processes, and team effectiveness.
- Take ownership of customer enquiries and allocated correspondence.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities, involving colleagues where appropriate.
- Act as a point of contact for allocated intermediaries/customers, escalating complex issues when necessary to maintain high service levels.
- Collaborate openly across all business lines and functions to support shared goals.
- Support conduct standards that deliver the best outcomes for customers and policyholders.
- Understand and follow escalation routes and governance responsibilities relating to conduct risk.
