Our client is a large global insurer with an established underwriting team within the engineering space.

Position Details

Due to internal development, a new position has arisen for an engineering underwriter. This role is suitable for candidates with an EAR underwriting background who are eager to expand their technical expertise across a global portfolio of business.

Role Requirements

• Technical underwriting experience, preferably within engineering
• Educational background in engineering is required
• Alternatively, candidates with a claims, risk management, or inspection background with an engineering focus (civil, mechanical, petrochemicals) are encouraged to apply, as this role can serve as a pathway into underwriting.
