A leading training organization seeks a Plant Trainer in Bedford. You will be responsible for training clients on Trenchless Technology machinery. Qualifications

  • Engage with clients in person to provide tailored training.

Position: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week, depending on travel)

We have a job opportunity within our Training team for a Plant Trainer based in Bedford. The role involves training and demonstrating our Trenchless Technology machinery, including GRUNDOMAT (Moling), GRUNDOWINCH (Twin Capstan Winches), & GRUNDOBURST (Pipe Bursting).

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Training Manager to deliver outstanding training to clients. Accredited courses will be delivered at various satellite locations nationally, on-site at customer premises, or at our Bedford depot.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as registering delegates and managing classroom information.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Recognised training/engineering qualification (training and Level 3 Education and Training (PTLLS) qualification can be provided if needed)
  • Knowledge of construction industry/utilities & civil sectors
  • Knowledge of Trenchless Technology (preferable but not essential)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations
  • Willingness to conduct practical outdoor training in all weather conditions
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, quick learner, capable of multitasking, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to deliver high-quality training tailored to individual needs
  • Good interpersonal skills and engaging communication style
  • Full driving licence required
  • Willing to travel approximately 2 days per week, with potential overnight stays depending on home location
