Job summary

Mercedes AMG HPP is seeking an Engineering Trainee in the Customer Engineering Department as an Inventory Analyst. You will help align FIA regulations with business processes, maximise accuracy of financial records and provide timely visibility of hardware costs.

The role involves reading engineering drawings, using CAD (NX), and performing large-scale data analysis to support decision making. A Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering is required, with a strong eye for detail and communication.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of mechanical engineering practices and systems.
• Data analytics and conversion to actionable business insight.
• Ability to read and create engineering drawings; CAD experience (NX).
• Understanding FIA financial/technical regulations is desirable.
• Experience in large-scale data analysis and cross-department collaboration.

• Action adjustments to historical system records to align with latest programme declarations.
• Ensure robust application of Power Unit Supply Perimeter (PUSP) for contractual and cost cap compliance.
• Be the Subject Matter Expert for FIA financial/technical regulations on Customer Team hardware.
• Provide accurate information and analysis on Customer Team hardware through its life cycle.
• Collaborate with Finance and Cost Analysts to standardise processes.
