Job description

DNC is an independent CNC electronic specialist offering in-house electronic part repair and testing facilities for drives, controls, PCBs, PSUs, and motors. We supply Fanuc parts via exchange or outright sale, with fault testing and a 24-hour repair turnaround. Our support extends to maintenance and service engineers, end users from large companies, machine tool manufacturers, and small CNC machinists. Currently, DNC offers CNC parts exchange and repair services to over 85 countries worldwide.

We are developing within the company and are seeking an Electromechanical Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out inspection activities on equipment
  • Undertaking fault diagnostics
  • Conducting repairs
  • Testing equipment
  • Using computer-aided design (CAD)
  • Supporting engineering and manufacturing as a Level 3 Technician (Mechatronics pathway)
  • Participating in on-the-job learning and attending taught sessions at New College Swindon
  • Demonstrating the skills, knowledge, and behaviors outlined in the standard

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.
