A leading food production company in the UK seeks a maintenance engineer. Responsibilities include supporting process operations, conducting mechanical and electrical maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Candidates should have an ONC/HNC in Engineering and experience in a similar role. The position involves a rotating shift pattern, ensuring operational efficiency within the plant.
Shift based mechanical and electrical role, supporting process operations and maintenance activities across the site. Working as part of an engineering team supporting process operations, led by the shift performance manager on shift.
You will be working a 'Panama 2' or 2-2-3 shift pattern which is a 28-day rotating schedule for 24/7 operations, where four teams of employees each work 12-hour shifts in a specific sequence. This sequence consists of two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, two days on, and then three days off, rotating days and nights each time.
You will directly report into the Engineering Lead who will assign additional maintenance activities to keep the site fully operational.
