Recruiting Now: Engineering Technician, Middlesbrough.

Teespro Recruitment is partnering with a Middlesbrough-based Mechanical and Electrical Engineering consultancy to appoint an Engineering Technician on a permanent basis.

Are you eager to advance your career in an engineering consultancy environment, working on projects across multiple industries and sectors? Do you have a passion for building services engineering?

As a Engineering Technician you will:

1. Report to Senior Engineers for work duties.
2. Produce designs, calculations and drawings under the instruction of Senior Engineers.
3. Utilise industry standard software, i.e. Amtech, Hevacomp, IES, Revit, AutoCad, etc. (Training will be provided where necessary).
4. Be proficient using standard Microsoft packages.
5. Ideally have some experience of working within the construction industry, either for a consultancy, contractor or manufacturer.

Key skills and qualifications of a Engineering Technician:

1. Industry qualifications in either Electrical, Plumbing (including other associated fields i.e. H&V or Gas), or Building Services Engineering.
2. Flexible approach to job requirements.
3. To communicate in writing and verbally with clarity and to a wide range of people and organisations.
4. Maintain the highest professional and personal standards.
5. Ensure client requirements are met in an efficient and prompt manner with maximum accuracy.
