Job Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Rugby
Job Length: Permanent
Working Hours: 42

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off; 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team at Britvic, a leading company in the Food & Beverages industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our production facilities, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality products that enhance life's everyday moments.

Role Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on production equipment and machinery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or system upgrades.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production personnel as needed.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Experience and Key Attributes
  • Proven experience as an Engineering Technician or a similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with industrial equipment, machinery, and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Education

A relevant technical or vocational qualification in Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field is required.

Certifications
  • Relevant industry certifications or licenses are highly desirable.
  • Certification in specific equipment or systems used in our production facilities would be an advantage.
