Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting on behalf of a leading company that specializes in providing solutions across the water and wastewater industry. Due to growth, this successful company is now looking for an experienced Engineering Technician to join the team.

Location:

Preston area

Engineering Technician responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Design Lead/Manager
• Maintaining a focus on minimizing risks in all functions of Health and Safety
• Liaising with clients
• Ensuring compliance with CDM, Health and Safety, and Environmental issues
• Completing tasks in accordance with current corporate systems, documentation, and controls that comply with legislation, policy, and industry standards
• Ensuring tasks are completed within specified timeframes
• Actively pursuing opportunities for outperformance during Investigation, Design, Detail Design, Delivery, and Completion stages
• Providing support to the designer
• Possibly holding specific responsibilities in computer-aided design (CAD)

Engineering Technician requirements:

• Experience using MS Office Excel
• Good knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D/GIS Software
• Knowledge of Water Hydraulic Systems
