Manufacturing Engineering Technician
Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift
Type: Contract to Perm
As a member of the Manufacturing Engineering team, the Engineering Technician will provide direct technical support to the Production Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams within daily business operations.
- Act as an accountable technical team member for process yield performance in a limited production area.
- Provide hands-on technical support to operations for manufacturing issues within a clean-room environment.
- Support and facilitate productivity and throughput improvement projects to achieve target process run rates.
- Perform hands-on failure analysis and investigations to address process nonconformities.
- Report technical investigation details to the production line team through clear, thorough, and specific documented feedback.
- Collaborate with engineering team resources to develop and implement process improvement projects.
- Design, develop, and fabricate simple manufacturing tools, fixtures, and devices.
- Work with vendors, suppliers, and other team members on engineering projects.
- Support change-management processes, including validation documentation, process work instructions, engineering studies, and technical writing.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
- 1+ years of experience in a technical, hands-on problem-solving role in a highly regulated environment, preferably medical.
- Hands-on skills with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hardware troubleshooting.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Experience with Lean and/or structured problem-solving tools.
- Skills in basic data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities daily.
