Job description

Cpl Life Sciences is seeking an Engineering Technician to join a pharmaceutical organization based in Greater London.

This full-time, permanent position involves maintaining and repairing production equipment on manufacturing and packaging machinery, ensuring GMP compliance.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Maintenance, fault finding, and repair of manufacturing/packaging equipment
  2. Ensuring compliance with GMP standards
  3. Developing and reviewing engineering plans and procedures
  4. Implementing reactive and planned maintenance strategies
  5. Assessing critical spare parts, shutdown plans, and workload
  6. Supporting deviation investigations
  7. Maintaining a safe working environment and reporting incidents

Skills and qualifications:

  • Time served apprenticeship or relevant experience (City & Guilds, BTEC Level 3, or equivalent)
  • Fault finding ability
  • Experience in writing and reviewing GMP documentation
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry, ideally pharmaceutical
  • Adaptability to changing departmental needs
