The Role As a Junior Engineering Technician you will join our specialist team supporting the maintenance and operation of advanced measurement equipment used to monitor ships and submarines. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help with equipment maintenance, building upkeep, and on-site checks, as well as taking part in deployments.
Day-to-day, you’ll help to repair, maintain and operate electronic and electrical systems, diagnose and fault-find issues with equipment, and assist with the design of systems for internal projects. You’ll carry out checks to make sure everything is safe, reliable and ready to use, while also reporting any defects or resource issues promptly to minimise downtime.

This role is 37 hours per week based at Winfrith site. Set working times are 8:30am – 4:30pm, with flexibility where required.
