National Highways is seeking an Engineering Team Manager in the North West, working hybrid from Warrington, Penrith, or Preston. You will lead a team of engineers to manage drainage assets and develop solutions while ensuring compliance with policies. A Chartered Civil Engineer with robust management skills and experience in asset decision making is essential for this role.

National Highways are looking to hire an Engineering Team Manager in the North West, based at either Warrington, Penrith or Preston, as part of our Operations Directorate.
As a proven people manager, you will lead and inspire a team of engineers in identifying and prioritising drainage asset needs and developing early scheme solutions for asset renewal and improvement, while ensuring adherence to defined policies and standards.
You will be required to drive as part of your role and you will need to have a full driving license with no more than 3 points to be considered for this position and during employment.
Please note that this is a hybrid position and can be based from any of our offices within the North West to include Warrington, Penrith or Preston.

External candidates will be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the pay scale, while current employees will be appointed in accordance with our established pay policy.
