We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Team Leader to guide and mentor our talented Engineers, helping us deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that make a difference.

Job Type - Full-Time

Contract - Permanent

Working Hours - 4 on 4 off (days and nights)

Position Summary:

As an Engineering Team Leader, you will lead the on-shift Multi-Skilled Engineers to optimise site engineering performance and deliver outstanding operational support through breakdown reduction, PPM, and process improvement, while ensuring compliance with the company's objectives to meet production requirements and maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a small team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee and enhance production processes to increase efficiency, minimize downtime, and maintain product quality.
• Ensure all operations adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices for food safety.
• Provide technical expertise to resolve production and maintenance issues quickly and effectively.
• Work closely with other departments to align on goals, project requirements, and continuous improvement efforts.

You will need:

• Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent Electrical/Mechanical and/or Electronic engineering qualifications recognized in the UK.
• Up-to-date knowledge of processing equipment and techniques.
• Understanding of engineering and operational processes and standards.
• Knowledge of GMP, H&S, and environmental regulations.
• Strong, practical food engineering and food manufacturing experience.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Flexible approach to work.
• High integrity, hardworking, and organized.
