Our client is a leading company within the food industry. Due to a company re-structure and development within the organization, they are looking for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join their expanding team. If you have supervisory or team leader experience and are comfortable with hands-on responsibilities, this could be the opportunity for you.

Shifts & Benefits Package:

• Shift: Monday – Friday Days (with some shift cover)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Motivate the engineering team through effective leadership, coaching, and development
• Manage contractors and maintenance suppliers through performance reviews
• Support the implementation of the Maintenance Excellence roadmap for the site
• Ensure adherence to planned maintenance schedules through effective resource planning
• Ensure adequate plant cover as required through resource planning
• Analyze CMMS data to assist with planning and identify equipment improvement opportunities
• Support end-to-end Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
• Review maintenance activities to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Apply RCA/5 Why analysis and problem-solving techniques
• Support the site and departmental 5S program
• Drive and support Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) and FMECA activities
• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to promote standardization, improvements, and cost efficiencies

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Must be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (electrical & mechanical)
• Proven electrical fault-finding skills and knowledge of PLCs
• Experience working in a Food/FMCG manufacturing environment
• Strong management experience
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement mentality
• Recognized apprenticeship to ONC/HNC

Salary & Additional Benefits:

• Salary: £50,000 to £52,000
• Benefits: 8% matched pension, Life Assurance, Up to 10% bonus
