Job summary

Katchr is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to own day-to-day leadership of the engineering group. You’ll guide a small team, partner with Product and senior leadership, recruit and coach engineers, and drive delivery speed while maintaining ownership and pace typical of a startup.

You’ll operate in a collaborative environment using C#, SQL Server, Azure and Power BI, helping scale the team and engineering practices as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Experience leading small engineering teams in start-up or scale-up environments.
• Strong track record of coaching engineers and delivering value.
• Solid software engineering background with hands-on credibility in C#/.NET.
• Experience recruiting, onboarding and developing engineers.
• Comfort working across Product, Engineering and leadership on priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day engineering from CTO, creating clarity and momentum across delivery.
• Coach engineers via regular 1:1s, feedback and development plans.
• Identify and remove blockers to keep delivery moving forward.
• Collaborate with Product and leadership on priorities and roadmap.
• Recruit, onboard and develop new engineers to grow the team.
• Ensure engineering work aligns with customer needs and business goals.
