Smile Education is thrilled to be working in partnership with a dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school near Sheldon, who are on the lookout for a passionate Engineering Teacher to join their thriving Design & Technology department.

Role Overview: As an Engineering Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging and practical lessons in Product Design and Engineering across KS3 and KS4, with potential to teach KS5 for the right candidate. You will nurture creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills, helping students develop both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. Occasional general cover may be required, with full support from a welcoming and collaborative team.
What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Product Design, Engineering Design, 3D Design, or a related subject
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Strong practical knowledge of modern design/engineering tools and techniques
• A creative approach to teaching, with a focus on student engagement
• A genuine passion for design and engineering education
