Job Title: Application Support Engineer

Salary: £37,047

What you'll be doing:

1. Assisting in the day-to-day delivery of Service Requests and general monitoring activities
2. Managing incidents and requests through our toolset ServiceNow
3. Contributing to and maintaining a support knowledge base
4. Managing toolset accounts across various Air platforms
5. Providing specialist advice on toolset usage to the user base
6. Monitoring infrastructure
7. Supporting license renewal, hosting, and utilization monitoring activities
8. Reporting on toolset data and service statistics
9. Engaging in ongoing professional development on aerospace toolsets

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Understanding of IT Service Delivery and proficient IT professional skills

Desirable:

• Siemens PLM experience
• Experience in a design and manufacturing environment
• Awareness of ITIL V4 terminology or willingness to learn

The Engineering Systems CC APP Team:

The ESCC PLM Support Team is a small, diverse, and highly skilled team supporting end users across design, planning, and manufacturing disciplines on various Air platforms. We ensure our engineering community has the necessary toolsets and guidance to design and build next-generation Air Defence products. The role involves supporting multiple Siemens PLM environments and related Eurofighter, US Programmes, and FCAS tools. We seek a self-motivated, problem-solving individual who can adapt quickly and is committed to continuous professional development.
