  • Handover & Operational Readiness: Facilitate smooth asset transitions to Operational Management, confirming SOPs, risk assessments, statutory compliance, and team training are complete prior to transfer.
  • Issue Resolution & CI: Partner with OEMs, contractors, and local teams to clear pre- and post-commissioning snags using continuous improvement tools (5s, A3s, Fishbone, 5 WHYs) to optimise site OEE.

What you’ll bring...

  • Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical core) combined with a recognized apprenticeship.
  • Proven experience in FMCG, food, or beverage manufacturing with direct exposure to engineering compliance, commissioning, and project documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of machinery safety, risk assessment methodologies, technical compliance frameworks, and CDM 2015 regulations.
  • Practical proficiency with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like Mainsaver or Ultimo alongside strong IT and data skills.
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills, with the ability to manage contractors and represent the department authoritatively across functional teams.

And it would also be great if you can demonstrate:

  • An uncompromising "completer-finisher" mindset with sharp attention to detail when auditing technical drawings, dossiers, and safety files.
  • A tenacious, structured approach to problem-solving, using analytical CI frameworks to resolve complex project snags and close documentation loops against tight timelines.
