A leading engineering services provider is seeking an Engineering Support Fabricator for their Faslane site in Helensburgh. The ideal candidate will have experience in light to medium fabrication, including welding and drilling, and must hold a relevant qualification. This full-time role requires a strong focus on safety and attention to detail while working on maintenance for submarines and surface ships.

As a Fabricator you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll play an integral role in ensuring the serviceability of submarines and surface ships through detailed maintenance, repairs and refit periods.
Day to day, you’ll undertake light to heavy fabrication and structural activities, utilising your skill set determining the best way to investigate, rectify and repair faults. You will also understand plans, drawings, procedures and standards when manufacturing, repairing or altering any system.
This role is full-time, 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday 07.15-16.45 and based onsite at HMNB Clyde (Faslane) near Helensburgh.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security check for this role.
