Engineering Supervisor – Food Manufacturing

£55k plus strong benefits package

4 on 4 off shift pattern

Are you a hands-on engineer who enjoys leading a team and keeping things running smoothly?
Do you have experience in food or FMCG manufacturing and want to take the next step in your career?

We’re working with a well-established food manufacturer in the Northwest who is looking for an Engineering Supervisor to join their team. This is a key role where you’ll lead a small team of engineers to keep the factory moving – fixing breakdowns, managing maintenance, and making sure everything runs safely and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading and supporting a team of engineers on shift
• Working closely with the Engineering Manager
• Responding quickly to breakdowns and working to get things back up and running
• Organising and completing planned maintenance
• Making sure health & safety and food safety standards are always followed
• Helping to improve how things are done – better processes, less downtime
• Working closely with production and other departments to solve problems and get results

• A strong background in engineering (mechanical, electrical or multiskilled)
• Experience working in food manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment
• Someone who can lead by example and get the best out of others
• A problem-solver who stays calm under pressure
