Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading North Wales manufacturer, in their search for an Engineering Supervisor to work at their site in Coedpoeth, near Wrexham.

For the successful Engineering Supervisor, our client is offering:

  • Salary of £52,288.57 p/a
  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00, however, flexibility will be required to the needs of the business.

The Role – Engineering Supervisor:

  • Lead and develop a team of shift engineers through performance management, mentoring, and appraisals
  • Deliver proactive, planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment meets capacity and efficiency targets
  • Provide hands-on support with reactive maintenance when required, minimising machine downtime
  • Ensure a safe environment for all staff and visitors to the manufacturing facility
  • Drive continuous improvement and implement energy optimisation initiatives
  • Manage contractors on-site and ensure effective project delivery
  • Support the introduction and commissioning of new equipment as part of innovation and expansion plans
  • Oversee team workload and capacity planning to ensure optimal resource allocation
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across departments and communicate effectively to manage expectations
  • Maintain audit readiness in partnership with the Technical and QA teams
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and support a high-performance team culture

Job Role: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll lead the shift engineering team to maintain production assets, ensure compliance, drive performance, and support site improvements. You’ll be the main point of contact for engineering during your shift.

For the successful Engineering Shift Team Leader, the client is offering:

  • Experience in FMCG Manufacturing setting - ESSENTIAL
  • Team leadership or supervisory experience - ESSENTIAL
  • Familiar with CMMS and continuous improvement tools - DESIRABLE
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Understanding of effluent and environmental controls
