Engineering Shift Supervisor

Job Title: Engineering Shift Supervisor

Location: Chester

Salary: £54,394 + pension + 21 shift holidays + OT 1.5 + other great benefits

Shift: 4on 4off D/N

The Company

Our client is a leading provider in the Food Manufacturing industry, operating multiple sites. Their customers include all the well-known UK grocery retailers.

The Role

Lead the engineering team to ensure the delivery of scheduled and reactive work to optimise plant availability. Implement agreed training and development plans to meet engineering and production needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, including ownership of the dynamic risk assessment process. Minimise engineering downtime, accurately log repairs, and monitor repair times. Liaise with planning and operations teams to ensure PPM is completed in a timely manner.

The Candidate

To be successful as an Engineering Shift Supervisor, you must have:

• A recognised electrical or mechanical qualification.
• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Supervisor.
