Description

The Diversified Analog Solutions team in Woburn, MA, focuses on semiconductor solutions for wireless communication across various markets. We are offering a 6-month co-op position (June 2025 to Dec 2025) for university students, reporting to a senior engineering mentor. The role involves work in the Woburn Analytical Lab, including design characterization, failure analysis, and competitive analysis, utilizing various simulation and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Electrical characterization of RF product designs and semiconductor devices
• Thermal characterization using IR microscopy
• Failure analysis, both destructive and non-destructive
• Analysis of reference designs for competitive insights
• Data analysis and presentation to engineering teams

Required Experience and Skills

• Currently enrolled in an electrical engineering program focused on IC and/or RF design
• Availability for a Summer/Fall co-op
• Motivated, inquisitive, with innovative and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic understanding of transistor operation and IC design concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Pay ranges vary depending on location and education level, with typical hourly rates for interns across the U.S. ranging from USD $22.50 to $47.50.
