Job summary

Universal Business Team is recruiting a Stores Coordinator (Engineering Support) to support field engineers by preparing equipment and maintaining a well-organised stores environment. This hands-on role ensures engineers have ready-to-use gear each day and that stock is tidy and accessible.

You will work closely with engineers to ensure all equipment is prepared for daily jobs, manage stock levels, and keep processes efficient in a busy warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, stores, or logistics experience.
• Practical, get stuck in attitude.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using basic computer systems.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• The ability to prioritise tasks and work ahead.

Responsibilities

• Review upcoming jobs and prepare equipment in advance using internal systems.
• Assemble equipment ready for installations and service visits.
• Ensure engineers' daily requirements are prepared ahead of time.
• Maintain sufficient pre-assembled stock for urgent or reactive jobs.
• Receive, check and process deliveries.
• Organise and store stock accurately within the warehouse.
• Monitor stock levels and highlight replenishment needs.
• Maintain tidy and clearly labelled stock locations.
• Assist with unloading and sorting returned or scrap equipment.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organised, and safe.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling appropriately.
