We’re Hiring: Engineering Stores Operative / Engineering Stores Envoy
Location: Carlisle - Field based (North of England & Scotland)
Salary: £26,000 per annum + £4,000 car allowance
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Are you passionate about providing outstanding service and keeping operations running smoothly? We are recruiting for an Engineering Stores Envoy to join a dynamic supply chain team, working field-based across the North of England and Scotland.
In this role, you’ll act as a key on-site representative, ensuring stores are well-maintained, stock levels are accurate, and client satisfaction remains your top priority. You'll play a critical part in ensuring product availability, cost efficiency, and a seamless client experience.
What you’ll be doing:
Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professional client relationships.
Issue stock products, expedite purchase orders, and manage goods-in processes.
Source and manage supplier catalogues and product references.
Conduct stock checks, maintain high standards of housekeeping, and ensure system accuracy.
Attend site meetings and contribute to continuous improvements within stores operations.
Ensure timely processing of deliveries and stock adjustments.
What we’re looking for:
A strong background in delivering excellent client service and working in fast-paced environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
Solid organisational and IT skills (SAP experience desirable but not essential).
A proactive team player with the ability to work independently when needed
