Engineering Stores Operative required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of electrical lighting products based in the Highgate, Birmingham area. Due to continued success, they are seeking an enthusiastic Stores Operative to join the team.

Engineering Stores Operative Job Overview

• Assisting with the goods-in and despatch of products
• Ensuring products for despatch are packaged to the required shipping standards
• Controlling stock levels and inventory
• Carrying out electrical assembly and production of products during peak times
• Operating a counterbalance forklift within the stores room

Engineering Stores Operative Job Requirements

• Previous experience within a Warehouse / Stores Operative role
• Based in a commutable distance of Highgate, Birmingham
• Experience within an engineering / electrical manufacturing environment
• Counterbalance forklift license is essential

Engineering Stores Operative Salary & Benefits

• Starting salary £25,000
• Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:00. Friday 07:30 - 13:30. 38-hour week, permanent position.
• 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays
