Location: Enfield

Job type: Full-time – no remote working

Monday to Friday, 7am to 3.30pm, with a 12.30pm finish on Friday

Engineering Stores Manager

Essential skills/experience

  • High level of computer literacy – SAP, MS Word, and Excel
  • Full UK driving licence (required) – ability to visit other sites for holiday/sick cover – expenses paid
  • Experience in warehousing, goods in/out, flexible, methodical, and physically fit
  • Conscientious with excellent attention to detail, self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day goods in/out, stock picking, kitting, and reconciling paperwork, delivery notes, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Load/Unload vehicles of critical stock using FLT
  • Attend and report on daily and weekly planning meetings
  • Compile reports on stock and operations
  • Ensure accuracy checks considering new stock
  • Investigate stock discrepancies
  • Prepare pallets of critical stock for off-site delivery, ensuring safety and security
  • Supervise and assist with stocktaking to maintain accurate records across all locations
  • Adhere to current legislation and prioritize health and safety
  • Manage calibration and inspection of tooling across the site
  • Input waste packaging data and liaise with the Environmental department
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure timely and high-standard project delivery
  • Maintain computer records and conduct annual and rolling stock checks
  • Supervise daily store operations and adapt to additional tasks when colleagues are absent
