Job Title: Engineering Stores Manager

Location: Enfield

Job type: Full-time - no remote working

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 7am to 3.30pm, with a 12.30pm finish on Friday

Essential skills/experience for Engineering Stores Manager

• High level of computer literacy - SAP, MS Word, and Excel
• Full UK driving license (required) - ability to cover other sites for holiday/sick cover (expenses paid)
• In-date Counterbalance forklift license
• Experience in warehousing, goods in/out, flexible, methodical, and physically fit
• Conscientious, excellent attention to detail, self-motivated

Responsibilities of the Engineering Stores Manager

• Day-to-day goods in/out, picking and kitting stock requirements, reconciling paperwork, delivery notes, purchase orders, and invoices
• Load/unload vehicles of critical stock using FLT
• Attend and report on daily and weekly planning meetings
• Compile reports
• Ensure accuracy checks with consideration of new stock
• Investigate stock discrepancies
• Prepare pallets of critical stock for off-site shipment, safely and securely
• Supervise and assist with stocktaking to maintain accurate records
• Adhere to current legislation, focusing on health and safety
• Manage calibration and inspection of tooling across the site
• Input waste packaging data and liaise with Environmental department
• Communicate effectively with the team to ensure timely project delivery of high standards
• Maintain computer records and conduct annual and rolling stock checks
• Supervise daily store operations and adapt to additional tasks when colleagues are absent

Preferred but not essential

• Working knowledge of SAP
• IOSH certification
• First aid trained
