Job summary

Dunbia Group in Cross Hands, Wales, is seeking a procurement professional to join our engineering purchasing function. You will act as the main contact for suppliers, manage purchase requisitions, and ensure timely, accurate ordering to keep our manufacturing lines running smoothly.

The role focuses on negotiating terms, evaluating costs and delivery performance, and driving cost-reduction initiatives through smarter sourcing, supplier management, and strict adherence to procurement policies.

Qualifications

• Procurement experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier-management skills.
• Previous manufacturing environment is desirable.
• High level of numerical accuracy and analytical ability.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Professional and confident communicator.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
