Job summary

Pareto Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a well-established chemical manufacturing business to appoint an Engineering Stores Lead. The role focuses on owning engineering stores and inventory, coordinating maintenance activities through a CMMS, and ensuring engineers have the materials and services needed to keep operations safe and efficient.

You will manage supplier and contractor relationships, monitor KPIs and backlog, and contribute to plant reliability and performance through strong stock

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering stores, maintenance planning or a similar role within manufacturing.
• CMMS experience with MaintMaster, SAP PM, Maximo or equivalent.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and sourcing engineering components.

Responsibilities

• Managing engineering stores, inventory and critical spare parts.
• Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities through a CMMS.
• Raising and progressing purchase orders for engineering materials and services.
• Liaising with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and performance.

Are you an organised engineering professional with experience in maintenance planning, engineering stores, or technical purchasing?

We're working with a well-established chemical manufacturing business seeking an Engineering Stores Lead to play a critical role in supporting plant reliability, maintenance planning, and engineering operations.

This is a varied position where you'll take ownership of engineering stores and inventory, coordinate maintenance activities through a CMMS, and manage supplier and contractor relationships to ensure engineering teams have everything they need to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing engineering stores, inventory and critical spare parts.
• Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities through a CMMS.
• Raising and progressing purchase orders for engineering materials and services.
• Liaising with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and performance.

We're Interested in Speaking to Candidates With:

• Experience in engineering stores, maintenance planning, engineering purchasing, or a similar role within manufacturing.
• CMMS experience such as MaintMaster, SAP PM, Maximo or equivalent.

• Experience managing supplier relationships and sourcing engineering components

Desirable:

• Experience within chemical, process manufacturing or other high-hazard environments.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work systems and contractor management.
• Mechanical or technical understanding of engineering components and specifications.
• Purchasing or supply chain qualifications such as CIPS.
