Job Description

Our client is an established, international food-related (FMCG) manufacturer based in the Thetford area. The company has 8 manufacturing operations in the UK and Europe and is one of the leading manufacturers in its field, with an annual turnover of £40 million, employing a loyal, dedicated, and motivated team of around 80 staff.

An Engineering Stores Co-ordinator is required to join the loyal and dedicated engineering team of 9. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will provide engineering support and accurate consumables/parts stock control/planning, with key relationships with the engineering team, QA & Hygiene, procurement, and finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Placing orders
  2. Maintaining stores and stock records
  3. Maintaining all records of spares quotations, benchmarking
  4. Placing engineering orders onto the Pragma system
  5. Maintaining engineering stock levels
  6. Maintaining hygiene chemical and consumables stock
  7. Entering manual work sheets on the CMMS System and issuing as required
  8. Liaising with 3rd party contractors as required
  9. Maintaining COSHH register & assessments
  10. Supporting the site roll-out of SUSA Program
  11. Driving hazard reporting program and ensuring close-out of identified hazards
  12. Participating actively in the health & safety committee

We are looking for candidates who are technically minded with a successful track record within a stores position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1630

Salary: £30,000 to £34,000, depending on experience. Benefits include contributory pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
