Job description

Job Title: Higher Education Electrical Engineering Lecturer

Location: Central London

Requirements:

  • MA or MSc with a minimum of 2 years UK HE teaching experience and teaching qualification (e.g., PGCert, HEA fellowships, PGCE), and/or
  • MA or MSc with 5 years UK HE teaching experience, and/or
  • PhD in the relevant field with at least 2 years UK HE teaching experience

Additional Requirements:

Job Details:

The Lecturer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering learning and teaching materials across various modules or within a specific subject area. The role is hybrid (face-to-face and online) and aims to ensure student engagement, achievement of learning outcomes, and a high-quality student experience. The Lecturer may also support students across a broader program.

  1. Teach scheduled sessions weekly, including lectures, seminars, and tutorials.
  2. Maintain attendance records and collaborate with the attendance team to ensure data accuracy.
  3. Deliver and facilitate teaching sessions according to programme and module specifications.
  4. Utilize Regent Digital tools, including VLEs and MS Teams.
  5. Encourage student engagement during sessions.
  6. Develop and update teaching materials and resources, including class notes and VLE content.
  7. Propose improvements to enhance the student academic experience.
  8. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine module content and structure.
