A respected professional services client with offices across the UK, seeks an analytical problem-solver with engineering expertise and automotive interest/experience, for a technical assessment and investigatory role.

The Role

You will apply engineering principles to evaluate technical issues, analyse systems, and provide expert consulting to clients across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough technical evaluations and assessments
  • Analyse engineering systems and components
  • Research specifications and industry standards
  • Prepare detailed technical reports
  • Consult with clients on engineering matters
  • Manage project workload independently
  • Contribute to knowledge development within the organisation

Requirements

  • Strong Honours degree in engineering or related technical field
  • Candidates with Chartered status or higher education are also desired (Masters, PhD).
  • Strong background or interest in automotive systems and engineering
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical systems analysis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail
  • A willingness to travel to external sites as needed
