Position: Engineering Supervisor
Core Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Reporting To: Contract Delivery Manager
Location: Peterborough, PE1 (Site Based)
Integral UK Ltd is seeking a Site-based Supervisor to join our team at our retail client site in Peterborough, PE1. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations of maintenance activities, including statutory property responsibilities and reporting issues via CAFM systems.
The Supervisor will collaborate with the Contract Delivery Manager and act on their behalf when needed.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety policies and procedures on site, escalating issues to the Contract Manager as necessary.
- Support the Helpdesk Administrator in planning PPM labor, scheduling reactive tasks, and ensuring effective completion of maintenance work, either through colleagues or subcontractors.
- Address recommendations from servicing reports.
- Assist in distributing work based on team members' capabilities and capacity.
- Follow quality systems, ensuring preventative and remedial actions are taken per the quality manual.
- Provide technical support to the team.
- Prepare quotations for additional work as needed.
- Supervise additional on-site works, ensuring compliance with site requirements.
- Prepare and provide documentation related to CDM works.
- Conduct regular site audits, resolving any exceptions found.
- Practice best purchasing procedures using nominated suppliers.
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental procedures outlined in site plans.
- Carry out PPM works as cover for leave or sickness.
- Deputize for the CDM in KPI meetings or similar.
- Attend monthly WIP meetings to understand contract financials as part of career development.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by the CDM.
