  • High Voltage (HV) Expertise: Act as a High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP), safely and competently carrying out fixed wire testing.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Take full responsibility for all elements of electrical and mechanical installations, repairs, and all contracted maintenance activities.
  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain a thorough understanding of all statutory compliance requirements and company procedures, ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Technical Accountability: Be prepared to undertake competency appointments for both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Record Keeping: Utilise IT systems to accurately and efficiently record all work and maintenance data.
What We're Looking For

You must possess the following qualifications as a minimum:

  • City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification, NVQ Level 3, or HND equivalent in a relevant field.
  • AND/OR BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or HND equivalent.
  • High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP) qualification and proven HV experience. You will be required to undertake a technical assessment during the interview.
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification.

In addition, the following would be advantageous:

  • Previous experience in a critical environment, such as a data centre.

  • IEE 18th Edition Regulations.
  • Be available to join a call-out rota.
