Job summary

Pioneer Selection is recruiting an experienced Engineering Shift Manager for a state-of-the-art, fully automated manufacturing site in Stanford-le-Hope. The role combines hands-on maintenance (about 30%) with leadership of a 4-on 4-off day and night shift.

You will mentor teams, delegate workload, resolve issues and drive site reliability during busy production periods. A Level 3 engineering qualification and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Leadership experience (Supervisory level is perfect).
• Level 3 engineering qualification.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift, mentoring, delegating workload and addressing issues on a fully automated site.
• Ensure smooth shift operations with hands-on maintenance approximately 30% of the time.

Engineering Shift Manager Salary: £57,000 + PensionLocation: Stanford Le Hope Shifts: 4 on 4 off days and nights

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by a strong Engineering Shift Manager has come to the forefront. This is going to be any engineer's dream to work in this state-of-the-art, fully automated, fast-paced factory. They have recently invested into the site and it's a great place to work for any Engineering Shift Manager who wants to develop their career in all areas.

The duties will involve about 30% of hands on maintenance work within a fully automated site and 70% of leading the shift, mentoring, delegating work load, dealling with issues and generally looking after the shift.
