Were hiring on behalf of a leader in the food manufacturing industry, for a hands-on Engineering Shift Manager to join their team at the site in Co Tyrone.

In this role, you'll take charge of a skilled maintenance team, driving performance, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance and safety across all site services and process areas.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of engineers and apprentices
  • Oversee maintenance schedules using SAP and ensure timely job completion
  • Monitor budgets, manage spare parts, and ensure contractor value
  • Identify root causes of downtime and implement solutions
  • Ensure all safety, compliance, and environmental standards are met
  • Play a key role in training, development, and succession planning

Youll need:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Proven team leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Strong focus on safety and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in food processing or FMCG is a strong advantage
