You will be joining the dynamic team supporting a major refurbishment of the client's lobal headquarters located in Canary Wharf. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a critical phase in the project, witnessing the commissioning process and contributing to the building's mobilization.

About the Role:

You will oversee the team that resolves and completes day-to-day work orders to meet customer satisfaction.

Key player in the Critical and Technical Services job function. Responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the workload, deadlines, and day-to-day activities of the support team members to ensure effective delivery of services. Provide holiday, training & sickness cover for other members of the shift team.
  • Review work logs and outstanding items through the in-house system to ensure completion.
  • Attend installation, commissioning, and fit-out events to ensure compliance with the agreed design, the client's standards, and statutory requirements. Update the site commissioning tracker on a daily basis.
  • Oversee all building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues. Must remain current with the latest technology trends
  • Ensure that all contractors and staff comply with all company, client safety, and security requirements. Seek out new vendors and maintain relationships with current ones.
  • Assist with the development of critical services training programs.
  • Point of contact for client and management escalation.
  • Share expertise and industry experience with the team to help resolve operational problems.
  • Assist at all stages of commissioning, witnessing, snagging and handover of all new facilities, systems, and assets to client.

Role Requirements:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 or equivalent in BS7671:2008 Requirement for Electrical Installation (IEE Wiring Regulations 18th edition).
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
  • Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.
  • A good understanding & competency of all building services PLC systems, critical cooling systems, water treatment, refrigeration systems and HV/LV electrical infrastructure
  • Good verbal & written communication skills. Exceptional IT skills.
