Job description

To plan and coordinate Field Engineering activities on a daily basis, ensuring that both internal and external client expectations are met. Activities include but are not limited to:

  1. Assist with resource planning for field communications engineers
  2. Cover any scheduling leave
  3. Monitor and update subcontractor clear information
  4. Assist other team members with their clears during periods of high demand
  5. Assist other team members with their queues during periods of high demand
  6. Monitor the resourcing inbox and action any queries
  7. Project work – planning multi-site/multi-region projects and booking appropriate installs
  8. Commit to continuous professional development and undertake additional training to meet individual and organizational needs
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills; effective communication across all levels of the organization
  • Good analytical and negotiating skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team with limited guidance
  • Computer literate, particularly in Excel, Word, data entry into databases, and basic internet and email skills
  • Awareness of telecommunications is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
  • Previous experience in engineering scheduling is desirable
