Job description

Engineering Scheduler - Stockport/Remote, UK

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Engineering Scheduler to join a growing team supporting major biopharmaceutical organisations across the UK. This is a dynamic, customer-focused role where you'll play a vital part in delivering exceptional service through effective scheduling, coordination, and administration. The role will be for a minimum of 12 months but highly likely to be extended after that time. This is a hybrid position working from home and the office.

What You'll Do:

Coordinate Onsite Services: Schedule field engineers for preventative maintenance and urgent repair visits.

Customer Service Champion: Act as the first point of contact for contract and service-related queries, maintaining strong relationships with customers and vendors.

Administrative Excellence: Handle daily administrative tasks including quotations, purchase orders, cost reconciliation, and documentation.

Service Monitoring: Ensure service activities are completed on time and to a high standard, minimising disruption to the customer.

Data & Asset Management: Maintain accurate service records and inventories using tools like Smartsheet and SAP CRM.

Vendor & Compliance Support: Schedule inductions, manage vendor documentation, and support adherence to customer-specific requirements.

KPI Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators to support continuous improvement in service delivery.

What You'll Bring:

Strong and time-management skills.

Proven ability to prioritise, multitask, and adapt quickly to changing demands.

Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.

A team player with a positive attitude and customer-first mindset.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/call management systems.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Previous experience in scheduling, coordination, or administration roles (ideally in a technical or scientific setting).

Scientific or engineering qualifications are a plus.
