Job Title: Engineering Scheduler
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire (On-site)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Salary: £26,000 per annum (subject to experience)
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Engineering Scheduler to coordinate daily jobs for a busy team of mobile engineers. Based in Corby, this is a full-time, office-based role ideal for someone local with prior experience in a corporate, fast-paced scheduling environment.

Key Responsibilities of this Engineering Scheduler position:

  • Schedule and manage daily tasks for a team of 20 mobile engineers (e.g., plumbers, technicians)

  • Use job scheduling software and internal systems to coordinate tools, stock, and logistics

  • Liaise with clients via phone and email to confirm appointments and updates

  • Ensure jobs are completed on time and to a high standard

  • Maintain accurate records using Salesforce, BigChange, JobWatch, and internal stock systems

  • Track job progress and resolve scheduling conflicts

  • Support key account management, ensuring end-to-end follow-through of jobs

  • Adapt quickly to changes and reallocate resources as needed

Requirements for this Engineering Scheduler position:

  • Previous experience in engineering/job scheduling or coordination in a corporate environment

  • Confident communicator with excellent phone manner must enjoy engaging with customers

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems

  • Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Salesforce, BigChange, or similar

  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills

  • Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment

  • Local to Corby or within easy commuting distance

  • A-levels or college diploma preferred; university degree advantageous but not essential.
